ince the use of lead is becoming more restrictive in various sectors, starting from September 2018 the lead seal will be replaced by a plastic clip studied to innovate and to renovate the seal of the safety valve on all our pressure reducers..

The traditional cylinder in lead with the punch marking has been replaced by an innovative tumbler lock system  made in anti-schock technopolymer material that is fixed on the additional opening ring of the safety valve. Once the pin of the seal is penetrated in its seat, no manipulation is anymore possible without damaging the piece.

he marking of the calibrated pressure of the safety valve has been realised on the piece itself  made in  different colours to differentiate the most frequent calibrations:

• calibration at 3,0 bar  black seal mould marking
• calibration at 4,8 bar grey seal mould marking
• calibration at 7,0 bar  green seal mould marking
• all the other calibrations   red seal  laser marking

The use of the different colours of the seals of the calibrated safety valves on the sampling stations enables the installer to identify at sight the different pressure of each individual station. The red seal enables the customisation of special calibrations.
